Asians Are Smart

Reality is harsh.. but things will only get worse unless we start to do somethihng.. and I mean, DO SOMETHING

-------------
EDIT
We can really say that many Filipinos are intelligent and wise.

Sadly, the wise consists only of a fraction of the whole population. Most don't have the money to study. And they end up being concerned solely on their basic needs.

And also, only a few of the wise choose to do something not only for themselves and not only for their current status.

A small fraction of Filipinos fight for our future, for own own identity and for their country.

The issue now is not how intelligent we are, but how we fight to keep your identity and to alleviate the status not only of the country but also the people

Filipino were intelligent. All of us can speak English. Some of not educated Filipinos, they rarely speak English. For some reasons, we are not only ones who were Pacific Islanders. Tiger economic countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and name other countries, were even raise their flags.

We, Filipinos, are not here to be judged. We are speaking the truth and the truth shall be prevailed. Discrimination, racisms, religion, and among others, I face the truth and in fact, I know all Filipinos were not all the same. Or people around the globe, we face reality. I'm making a story that will make people to be believe and face the reality.

Reality outside of Philippines, we are not alone. Other country will feel the same way we are been treated as Pacific Islanders. But according to my sources, people outside of the Philippines judged first before they speak when they arrive in our country.

Think about people says, "Filipinos are copycats." Think about musicians nowadays, "The music here in the Philippines really change foreign music to local music. Isn't that against the law of copcats, and let say plagiarism."

Here in DA, Filipino artists shares their honest answers. And we are copycats. But I'm changing the view that would lead us not to be among them. My field of working drawing, I accept that but I'm changing them to reality.

wow, that was interesting.

The way I see it, from my observations:

* "Filipinos" are made of drama and lulz

* "Pinoys" are made of sheer epic win

There is a very subtle difference, appearance- and culture-wise. There are two kinds of people in this country, I tend to designate these people into those categories. :peace:

To me way-aye, blow the man down.
A pretty young damsel I chanced for to meet.
Give me some time to blow the man down!

What use is it to you what's on my mind?
If it ain't comin' out, we're not going anywhere
So why can't I just tell you that I care?"

this is not just thinking negative about our own race. This is a reality check. it is about finding our nation's true identity and alleviating our country from its current status. If we can prove them that we are better than what they think we are, we can really say, "we are FIlipino and we are proud to be Filipino."

Using my definitions:

Pinoys are fearless and crave progress, while Filipinos are melodramatic and tend to put down new ideas if it means seeing other people becoming better than them in some way. Pinoys find ways to improve themselves and those around them, Filipinos just want to make a quick buck and never think much about the bigger picture. And so forth.

But don't look at it as exclusive groups, ok? Some people are both of those. Some people are neither any of them (these are the people the two camps are trying to influence). And some people are moderately of either descriptions. There's no clear black and white in my worldview.

Ah well, there ya go. People tend to misinterpret it because I don't feel comfortable describing them things to others, as I often get flamed or slugged in real life because of 'em. But I do hope you're the more understanding type. Yeah.

okay.I was just confused with your previous comment. i might think about what you have just written and maybe react to it later.. :D

it really is nice to see different reactions when our being ';Pinoy' or 'Filipino' is being criticized.
